Report: Cardinals open to trading Larry Fitzgerald this offseason

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald could be dealt this offseason if he is not traded before Tuesday’s trade deadline, reports ESPN.

The Caridnals could save $8 million by trading Fitzgerald, whose salary-cap number climbs to $18 million next season.

The 30-year-old Fitzgerald has 32 receptions for 422 yards and four touchdowns.  He will likely have to agree to a restructured contract to stay in Arizona.

Fitzgerald is the franchise’s all-time leader in several categories, including receptions (796), yards receiving (10,835) and receiving touchdowns (81).

If the Cardinals get rid of Larry they might as well leave AZ. He is everyone’s favorite here!!

I have to second that motion antskip2… He has been the only hope and bright spot of this team at times. He has been consistent and loyal… I hope the Cardinals organisation will be the same!!!

Since when have the NFL Cardinals did right by their best players. Larry Fitzgerald is the lone bright spot in an otherwise dull and dismal football team.
