Jermaine Gresham has decided to sign with the Arizona Cardinals are garnering interest from several NFL teams over the past week.
The veteran tight end has agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Cardinals, the team announced Friday.
Gresham, a two-time Pro Bowler, averaged 56 catches and 544 yards per season during his five-year career with the Bengals. Gresham recently had surgery for a herniated disc in his back.
Gresham played with Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer as a rookie with the Bengals in 2010, catching 52 passes for 471 yards and four touchdowns.
He will compete with Darren Fells and last year’s second-round pick, Troy Niklas for playing time.
