New York Knicks center Tyson Chandler could be back in the lineup Wednesday, reports Marc Berman at the New York Post.
“Chandler, as of Monday morning, has not ruled out returning Wednesday in Milwaukee. Chandler is supposed to be reevaluated Monday and must be cleared by the medical staff. The next game after Milwaukee is not until Saturday against Memphis — that appears the latest he would be back.”
Chandler broke his left fibula during the Knicks fourth game of the season on Nov. 5.
Without Chandler, the Knicks have gone 6-14 and rank 25th in defensive efficiency. Andrea Bargnani, who is averaging 15 points and 5 rebounds this season, has had an increased role as starting center.
