Avery Bradley re-signs with Boston Celtics

Free agent point guard Avery Bradley will re-sign with the Boston Celtics, reports Steve Bulpett of the Boston Herald.

Bradley and the Celtics have agreed on a four-year deal worth a fully guranteed $32 million with no player or team options, reports Yahoo Sports’ Marc Spears

Bradley averaged 14.9 points and shot 39.5 percent from beyond the arc last season.

Bradley told ESPN.com on Monday that he wanted to remain in Boston and wasn’t worried about a contract.

I haven’t been worried about [free agency],” said Bradley. “I’ve been worried about getting better. I try not to think about anything I can’t control. All I can do is continue to try to get better every single day, and I know everything else will work out.”

I am glad that Avery has signed another contract. When he is healthy he is a very good defender and is shooting better too. Could pair up with Smart if Rondo leaves.
