Zach Parise returns for Minnesota

Minnesota Wild alternate captain Zach Parise will play for the first time in 14 games on Thursday night against the Chicago Blackhawks.

Parise has been out with a foot injury since Dec. 22.

Parise, 29, has 15 goals and 12 assists in 37 games this season.

His return couldn’t come at a better time.  The Wild are coming off a 4-0 shutout loss to the Dallas Stars in which they were out-shot 36-18.
