Titans’ Kenny Britt suspended one game by NFL

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt will be suspended one game, and is unlikely to appeal his suspension, according to reports from the NFL.com.

Britt will likely use the extra week to rehab and recover from his three knee surgeries he underwent last October. Two surgeries on his right knee and one on his left, Britt came off the PUP list on Wednesday.

Britt was arrested in July for driving under the influence, which marks the eighth time since being drafted in 2009 that he has been involved with the police.

“That’s just another bump in the road, another pothole in the road that we’ve got to go over and smoothing that out,” Britt said last week. “That’s something I’m not putting in my head right now, just hoping to recover from these knee injuries.”

Britt was only expected to play 10 to 15 snaps if he was not suspended for the opener.
