Nuggets’ JaVale McGee tried to treat fans to a free burrito

Denver Nuggets center JaVale McGee offered to buy ten of his fans a free Chipotle burrito, but only one person showed up.

McGee tweeted out saying, “1st 10 people who meet me at chipotle in 5 mins get free meals! #OMM the one in Denver on 16th!”

But only one person showed up, according to Mile High Sports.

The one guy was Andy Mathisen, who thanked McGee for the free burrito via Twitter saying, “Just met one of my favorite @denvernuggets at chipotle. Thanks for the burrito @JaValeMcGee34 you’re the man!”

Looks like Nuggets fans are more worried about winning an NBA title than eating a free burrito. Fans just hope that newly acquired Andre Iguodala can help the team beat the Lakers and Thunder in the playoffs.
