Lions’ Calvin Johnson misses practice

Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson did not practice on Wednesday because of a foot injury, according to the team.

Head coach Jim Schwartz wouldn’t say much on the injury.

The injury doesn’t sound serious, according to team reporter Tim Twentyman, who says Megatron appeared to be fine.

“Let’s put it this way. I didn’t notice anything,” he tweeted. “Just thought it was a day of rest. He’ll be fine.”

Johnson played through Sunday’s win over the Rams without any trouble, catching six passes from quarterback Matthew Stafford for 111 yards.
