Los Angeles Lakers center Dwight Howard won’t have to travel far to work with one of the greatest NBA center’s of all time, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
According to Lakers Nation, Howard plans to follow in the footsteps of many great Lakers centers and will work out with the six-time NBA champion, Abdul-Jabbar.
During a conversation with a fan via Twitter, Howard was asked if he would be working out with the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, he simply replied, “I am.”
Abdul Jabbar has always been willing to offer his services to Lakers centers, even if he had less than perfect relationships with Shaquille O’Neal and Andrew Bynum.
Howard seems always willing to learn as he has also worked out with two-time NBA champion Hakeem Olajuwon in the past.
Abdul-Jabbar will have a statue unveiled outside of the Staples Center sometime during the 2012-13 season.
