New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis suffered a concussion when teammate Bart Scott accidentally kicked him in the head during the team’s 48-28 victory over the Buffalo Bills.
Revis was injured in the fourth quarter when linebacker Bart Scott kicked him in the head while he was tackling C.J. Spiller.
“I understand it’s a mild concussion,” Jets coach Rex Ryan said (via the New York Daily News). “He seems to be feeling good. We’ll see how he progresses during the week.”
Revis will be able to play Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers if he is medically cleared. If he is unable to play, Kyle Wilson will likely start opposite Antonio Cromartie.
Revis had an interception that led to the Jets’ first touchdown while Wilson also recorded an interception that set up the Jets’ second touchdown.
