Broncos’ Peyton Manning throws 400th career touchdown pass

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning became the third player in NFL history to throw 400 career touchdown passes during Sunday night’s 31-19 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Manning joins Dan Marino and Brett Favre after connecting with wide receiver Demaryius Thomas for 71 yards in the third quarter.

Manning reached the milestone in 209 games making him the fastest player to reach the 400 touchdown mark. Dan Marino reached 400 in his 227th game while Favre did it in his 228th game.

Favre has 508 career touchdown passes and Marino has 420.

Manning also threw his 401 career TD pass on Sunday night when he hit tight end Jacob Tamme on a 1-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter.
