Pacers forward Lance Stephenson will do anything to get Heat star LeBron James off his game, including blowing in his ear.
“My plan was to get into their head, get under their skin and play physical basketball, and help my teammates win the game,” Stephenson said, via Bleacher Report. “Just playing physical basketball and do whatever it takes to get the W. My teammates had my back. We all played good. I’m just happy we got the W tonight.”
The Pacers staved off playoff elimination Wednesday night with a 93-90 Game 5 victory.
“Lance is Lance,” James said. “He’s going to do what he needs to do to help his team win. As to the leaders of this team, we’re going to do what it takes to help our team win.”
Ray Allen said Stephenson doesn’t get Heat players out of their game.
“No, it’s just buffoonery,” Allen said. “As players, we just are professional, we come out and do our jobs. He’s young. He’ll grow up.”
