The Chicago Blackhawks announced Wednesday that they have agreed to terms with forwards Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane on eight-year contract extensions, which run through the 2022-23 National Hockey League season.
A formal press conference will be held at the United Center next week.
According to TSN, the contract extensions are each worth an average annual value of $10.5 million.
Kane and Toews signed contract extensions in 2009 for five years and $31.5 million. The deals were due to expire after the 2014-15 season.
Toews, 26, has 195 goals and 245 assists in 484 career regular-season games. Kane, 25, has 178 goals and 315 assists in 515 career games.
