The Pittsburgh Steelers have restructured tight end Heath Miller’s contract to lower his cap number.
The #Steelers have restructured TE Heath Miller’s deal to create cap space, I’m told. Had a cap number of $9.5M, this will lower it.

Miller is in the final year of a contract that was due to pay him $6.02 million this season.
The 31-year-old Miller hauled in 58 passes for 593 yards and one touchdown in 2013.
The NFL’s salary cap for the 2014 season is $133 million. The Steelers, who were at $138.7 million before Miller’s reworked deal, will have to be under the cap by March 11, when free agency begins.
