Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick will take the first-team reps in practice on Tuesday, says offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur.
“Mike will be out here taking the first-team reps,” Shurmur said. “He’ll be out there practicing and taking the reps. I wouldn’t encourage you to assume anything. Coach (Kelly) has talked about it — who the starter will be is based on the health of the quarterbacks. He’ll be out there working today with Matt Barkley and then we signed G.J. (Kinne) back for a lot of reasons.”
Vick has been sidelined with a hamstring injury the last two games. Nick Foles, who took over in Vick’s abscence, is recovering from a concussion suffered during Sunday’s 17-3 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
The Eagles face the Giants on Sunday afternoon at Lincoln Financial Field.
