The Denver Broncos are fresh off of winning Super Bowl 50 last year and are hoping to make a run at another title this season. Emmanuel Sanders and the Broncos’ offense may take a hit with Peyton Manning retiring and Brock Osweiler leaving for the Houston Texans in free agency.

During an interview with Sirius NFL Radio, Sanders made it clear that he thinks his team can do it again.

Last season with the Broncos, Sanders had a huge role in powering them to a championship. He caught 76 passes for 1,135 yards and six touchdowns. It will certainly be interesting to see what kind of numbers he has this season with the major change at the quarterback position.

Denver will have some competition in the AFC. At the very least, both the New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts should be formidable opponents.

Gary Kubiak and John Elway seem to have total faith in their top two quarterbacks. Mark Sanchez and Paxton Lynch are in competition for the starting job. Lynch is likely the Broncos’ best option if they want to compete for a Super Bowl title, although the Broncos still have options with training camp and preseason action heating up.

It will certainly be interesting to see what the 2016 NFL season holds for the Broncos. They are hopeful that they can shock the world and win back-to-back championships.

Don’t expect to see Sanders’ hopes come true. Denver simply isn’t as good of a team as they were last season and there are a lot of better teams out there that should dominate the Broncos if the two teams face each other.
