Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger told 93.7 The Fan that he and offensive coordinator Todd Haley have a good relationship now.
The two had a rocky start, but Roethlisberger has played well in Haley’s offense.
“There was an obvious growing period,” Roethlisberger said. “You develop a relationship. I enjoy working with him. I think we have a good relationship now. You see it on the field and you will continue to see that when we get out there because my play will be better and the play-calling will really be better.”
Roethlisberger told the radio station that health will be key for the Steelers to improve on back-to-back 8-8 seasons.
“I like where we are. I really do. I know we are young, but I have a really good feeling about this,” Roethlisberger said. “If we can stay healthy, I like where we are and I’m really happy with our O-line and they have a chance to be great and as good as they are is going to help us.”[PFT]
