Report: Carmelo Anthony to visit Rockets, Mavericks, Bulls

Carmelo Anthony

Carmelo Anthony has decided to visit the Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks and Chicago Bulls when teams are allowed to meet with free agents on July 1, reports ESPN’s Chris Broussard.

The Bulls and Rockets will have to clear salary cap space to sign Anthony to four year deals in the $90 million range.

The New York Knicks, who can sign Anthony to $33 million more than any other team, are also still in the running to bring back the All-Star forward.

Kobe Bryant told in a text message that he plans to meet with Anthony and recruit him to the Los Angeles Lakers.
