Ray Allen’s 3-pointer with 5.2 seconds to play to force overtime, and LeBron James 32 points helped the Miami Heat stay alive in the NBA Finals Tuesday night against the San Antonio Spurs.
The Heat beat the Spurs 103-100 after trailing by 13 with under 4 minutes left in the third quater.
The Heat trailed the Spurs 94-89 with 28 seconds to play, but James made a 3 with 20 seconds to go and Allen drilled another to tie it.
James’ layup with 1:43 to play in overtime gave the Heat a 101-100 lead, then Allen added two more points from the free throw line to force a Game 7, which is Thursday night in Miami.
Tim Duncan led the Spurs with 30 points and 17 rebounds, but he was scoreless in the fourth and overtime.
