Dale Jr. gets Robert Griffin III to drive pace car

NASCAR’s Most Popular driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. used his star power to bring in Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III to be the honorary pace car driver in the Toyota Owners 400 Sprint Cup Series race this weekend at Richmond International Raceway.

Richmond International Raceway is just a two-hour drive from FedEx Field. Griffin will go through pace car training, meet with Dale Jr., and get together with former Redskins coach and NASCAR team owner Joe Gibbs for a garage tour.

Watch Griffin lead the field of 43 NASCAR drivers on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET on FOX.
