Blue Jays pitcher J.A. Happ hit in head with liner, taken off on stretcher

Toronto Blue Jays pitcher J.A. Happ was hit in the head by a line drive off of the bat of Tampa Bay Rays center fielder Desmond Jennings at Tropicana Field Tuesday night.

Happ was taken off the field on a stretcher and was bleeding from the left side of his head in the bottom of the second inning.

Jennings ended up on third base with a two-run triple.
