SUBWAY® is celebrating ‘The Boys in the Hall’ all summer long to spotlight potential future Baseball Hall of Famers. This week is Hall of Fame hopeful Asdrubal Cabrera of the Cleveland Indians.
The 27-year-old Cabrera has made two All-Star Game appearances and won the 2011 American League Silver Slugger Award.
Born in Puerto la Cruz, Venezuela, Cabrera made his major league debut in 2007 with the Indians.
Through the first seven seasons of the shortstops career, Cabrera has crushed 68 home runs, drove in 373 RBIs and scored 407 runs while batting .273.
Cabrera signed a two-year contract extension with the Indians in 2012.
